Where is the event?

Players Sports Bar & Grille in Rockland.  PLEASE NOTE - Additional parking is available at the arena next door to Players.  Driving directions can be found at southshoresportsbar.com

Who Benefits?

The Home Care Division of South Shore Health benefits from this event.  All proceeds go to purchasing equipment and specialty items needed for the health and wellness of our Visiting Nurse patients, providing services and assitance for marginalized patients and when mandated, educational programs for clinicians.

What happens at the event?

Kickin' Up Country is a country-themed dance with a live band, a delicious buffet dinner and dessert, followed by dancing, a fun photo booth, a 50/50 drawing and great raffle prizes to bid on.

Who attends the event?

Anyone can attend the event.  You don't have to know how to dance or love country, you just have to want to have a great time and help us raise some money for a great cause.  If you are interested in sitting close to the dance floor, buy your tickets early!!

What should I wear?

There is no specific dress code for the event.  You can come in whatever makes you comfortable.  Jeans, boots and hats are staples for some of the attendees.  You can get as dressed as you would like or be as casual as you please.

Do I need to know how to line dance?

No, you don’t.  However, there will be plenty of people who know what they are doing on the dance floor – you can follow along, or just get up and dance as if no one was watching.

Will you follow all state and CDC guidelines for gatherings of this size?

We have been and will continue to be monitoring current guidelines as they apply to events and make adjustments up to and including cancellation if necessary.  Registered attendees will be notified of any changes and communication to the general public made through all of our promotional outlets.
